jesskilgannon:

Next Wednesday, June 29, the final installment of Coheed and Cambria’s Amory Wars: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 will be available online and in your local comic shop.
I can’t speak for the Coheed community at large, but this will be a bittersweet day for me. The album behind this particular story arc was released over seven years ago. Seven years is a long time to imagine your own concept of a cryptic story told in lyrics. It’s a long time to become familiar with characters you don’t even know yet. Most importantly, In Keeping is the album that hooked a huge part of Coheed’s most loyal fans, and those fans tend to have a familiarity and love for the element of mystery that is a Coheed trademark.
I’m excited as all hell to finally hold the conclusion to In Keeping in my hands. And as with anything we love, there will be a nostalgic reminiscence to the ending - with every new piece of information we gain about the Coheed phenomenon, the old mystique fades little by little as both we and its creators evolve into a new era.
Well done, my friends. <3
